Krystal Shares Her Tips...

How I do It All...

I pray often, establish boundaries, practice intentionality, maintain an optimistic mindset, and surround myself with a genuine, supportive community

Favorite Tools

Various mood driven playlists, a sleep app- providing sounds to calm the mind and support efficient sleep, a journaling (for daily to-do's, brain dumping, expressing gratitude to keep perspective), staying active, Books: (Emotional Intelligence, Strength Finders, Crucial Conversations), and therapy.

Why Nursing Makes My "And" Even Better...

Nursing equipped me with the tools needed to be impactful in my business and it sparked my WHY. As a nurse I learned how to assess a client’s needs and meet them where they are in order to help them accomplish their health goal. Soon enough, it became apparent that people just don't know the "how to" in their journey to accomplish nutritional goals. I always knew I wanted to help people.  Now I have created a company where I can tie my love for food, knowledge on how to make it both tasty and nutritious, and passion for education. Ultimately, helping people to improve their health through nutrition.

Day In The Life

I wake up and pray about what I am thankful for and write in my gratitude journal. Then head to the gym, come home to shower, and eat breakfast. On prep or cooking demonstration days, I shop the day before, I cook the ordered items with my Catering Assistant and drop them off or set up and start the class. On admin days, I complete or set up calls, respond to emails, and/or attend classes/seminars/networking events. I try to maintain a balanced diet and keep my water bottle close as a consumption reminder.  I review my schedule for the next day/remainder of the week and update my to-do list, marking off what is completed versus pending. I try to give myself 1-2 hours of decompression time before bed and read at least a chapter out of whatever book is on my night stand at the time, if energy levels permit :-).
